



There are two types of IP addresses- Public and Private. IP addresses are 32-bit numbers with every 8 bits separated by a decimal. The IP addresses are allocated to each device and are unique. Any network device in the world can be recognized with its IP address. IP Address (10.0.0.0) - It is the global addressing scheme used under Internet Protocol. It comprises of two parts - The IP address and the Subnet.

"10.0.0.0/8" refers to an IP address block.
